Chris Foutz

Chris Foutz, President of Foutz Brothers Construction, grew up in the construction world. Starting in high-end residential communities, Foutz expanded into the commercial sector, with a focus on hospitality. Having overseen more than $800 million in projects throughout his career, Foutz is thoroughly studied in every aspect of the development life cycle. His expansive perspective has helped him create organizational processes that mitigate risk, maximize efficiency, and deliver exceptional quality on budget.

Chris graduated from Northwestern Tech in Rock Springs, GA. His prior experience includes work at Kellogg & Kimsey, Inc., Pinkerton & Laws, Inc., among other general contractors in the Southeast. And has excelled on the ownership side as a Senior Director at McKibbon Hotel Group. He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Accredited Professional and has won both the Charlotte CRE Heavy Hitters Award and was nominated for many Marriott Openings of the Year.

Foutz currently resides in Gainesville, GA and enjoys traveling with his wife, Karen, and son, Christopher.

Jerry Foutz

Jerry Foutz grew up surrounded by construction and hard work—his father an electrician and his grandfather an ironworker. Starting his own career as a union carpenter, Foutz mastered a breadth of skills that provided the foundation for his 40-year career.

Jerry has worked as a project manager and site superintendent on hotels, multifamily, retail, public infrastructure, and many other types of real estate assets. He has worked with several large general contractors and developers such as the Walsh Group, Archer Western, Kellogg & Kimsey, and Pinkerton & Laws. 

Jerry is passionate about what he does because he likes what he does. He gets along with developers, contractors, and sub-contractors and makes it a point of solving problems before they become a problem. Not only can he do it all with his hands, but he can also handle all the tough problems he gets thrown, making sure that everyone walks away from the project satisfied.

Jerry lives with his wife Linda Foutz, and has three adult sons who all live in Indiana. He is a car enthusiast and restores vintage cars in his spare time.

To build with a track record of exceptional quality requires a broad view of the entire project, while also having the capacity to hone into the micro details. The ability to zoom both out and in, to focus on what will drive the quality of the final product, has enabled us to deliver exceptional properties.
